The renovation focuses on simplifying the overall layout and enhancing openness across the living spaces. Visual continuity is maintained between the living, dining, and kitchen areas, allowing the home to feel more connected and easy to navigate.

A restrained palette forms the base of the design, with soft neutrals creating a sense of warmth and calm, complemented by subtle colour interventions that add character without overwhelming the space. Custom elements, from storage to furniture and ceiling details are introduced with precision, ensuring functionality while maintaining a clean and uncluttered aesthetic.

A defining intervention within the project is the ceiling composition of floating square forms, introduced to visually unify the previously fragmented living and dining zones. Rather than treating these areas as separate, the ceiling becomes a continuous element that ties the space together, enhancing both scale and spatial coherence.

Lighting is layered to support both everyday use and ambient comfort, while material choices are kept practical and durable for long-term living. The result is a home that feels balanced, light, and quietly expressive, designed to support real life with ease.
