Penthouse Apartment 4

Design Intent

This penthouse is designed as a sensory experience rather than a static interior, a space that reveals itself through layers of light, texture, and reflection.

The palette is intentionally rich and expressive. Deep tones like wine, olive, charcoal, and black are balanced with warm metallics and soft upholstery, creating an atmosphere that feels both indulgent and grounded.

The bar becomes a focal element, defined by perforated metal shutters, reflective mirror back panels, and warm integrated lighting. Rather than being purely functional, it acts as a visual anchor, a space that invites pause, conversation, and ritual.

Materiality plays a central role in shaping the mood. Fluted glass, textured stone, patterned marble, and fabric layering create depth and tactility across surfaces. Each element is chosen not just for appearance, but for how it interacts with light, diffusing, reflecting, or absorbing it.

Lighting is treated as a narrative device. Concealed strips, warm accent lamps, and statement fixtures work together to create a shifting ambience from day to night. The result is a home that feels dynamic, calm in daylight, intimate and atmospheric after dark.

Spatially, the design balances openness with enclosure. While the layout allows flow between zones, moments like the bar, seating clusters, and kitchen introduce a sense of intimacy within the larger space.

The outcome is a home that prioritizes feeling over formality, crafted to be lived in, experienced, and remembered.
