The Noir Glasshouse

Design Intent

The Glasshouse is designed as a sculptural outhouse where structure itself becomes the defining visual language. Tilted metal frames wrap the column, creating a strong geometric identity while framing expansive glass surfaces that dissolve the boundary between inside and outside.
The architecture is organised around a double-height volume, allowing light, scale and vertical connection to shape the spatial experience. A mezzanine level is introduced to enhance this relationship, overlooking the primary living space and reinforcing the sense of openness.
Material contrast plays a key role: the dark, rigid outer frame anchors the building, while the interiors are layered with warmer tones and softer elements, creating balance between boldness and comfort. Pergola extensions and semi-open elements further extend the architecture outward, blending built from with the surrounding landscape.

Designed end-to-end by Artxstasy, from architecture and interiors to material and fixture selection, along with site supervision, the project is resolved as a single, cohesive vision. The result is a space that feel striking yet inhabitable, defined by clarity of form and a strong architectural presence.
