Villa 101

Design Intent
Villa 101 is conceived as a vertical retreat, a home that unfolds through levels, light, and landscape rather than conventional room divisions.
At its core is a double-height glass volume that anchors the entire structure, creating a continuous visual connection across floors while drawing natural light deep into the home. This central space becomes the heart of the project, not just a living area, but an experience that evolves through the day.
The architecture is defined by a strong interplay of materials. Dark, solid surfaces create a grounded base, while expansive glass openings dissolve boundaries, allowing the surrounding greenery to become an integral part of the interior. Warm wooden decks and a lightweight pergola roof structure introduce contrast, softening the overall composition while framing views and controlling light.
Each level extends outward into terraces and balconies, ensuring that every space maintains a relationship with the outdoors. The uppermost level transforms into a semi-open pavilion, a quiet, elevated retreat that balances openness with shelter.
The result is a home that is not static, but dynamic, constantly shifting with light, shadow, and movement, offering a layered living experience that is both intimate and expansive.
